MI Antiques is committed to making mi-antiques.com usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology.

Standards we aim for

We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, including:

• A logical heading structure and semantic HTML throughout the site
• Visible keyboard focus states on every interactive element
• Sufficient color contrast between text and background
• Descriptive alt text on informative images, and empty alt text on purely decorative graphics
• FAQ sections built with native <details>/<summary> elements, keyboard-operable without JavaScript
• A "skip to content" link on every page
• Layouts that reflow and remain usable when zoomed to 200%

Known limitations

This site is under active development. Some third-party embeds (such as maps) may not fully meet the same standard; we're working to close those gaps.
