Most important to a site like ours, and to the businesses
listed within our site, is how we rank within search
engines. The most common types of searches are not business
names but searches using descriptive terms.
Recently we discovered how we ranked on the search phrase
of "antiques directory". This is a very generic
phrase and returns search results of several million,
encompassing directories from all over the world. We
were very happy to see a link to Michigan Antiques Directory
on the first page of that Google search. Of course,
with such a generic search and high number of results,
first page placement will fluctuate. If you don't find
us on the first page, keep looking - we are close by.
Such a high ranking within this type of search shows
that Michigan Antiques Directory has high visibility
within all major search engines. This fact will not
