| Antique & Collectible Events Calendar |
The actual title of this new page is our "Antique &
Collectible Shows, Markets and Events Calendar". There are some very
interesting events that promote antiques & collectibles in Michigan
and we are very excited about promoting them. Our users will have a central
location to find these events, organized by date and location.
The location of an event will be displayed on the date of that event.
Below the calendar is a chronological list of the events for that
month. The name, city and county of each event is listed. Click on
the event name and you will be taken to its listing under the city and county it takes place in.
The listing will provide more details about the event and, also, let
the user know about the surrounding stores and malls. Please visit the Events Calendar page. We are excited to offer another tool for collectors and treasure hunters to plan their travel. |
| MAD's New Look and Feel |
Besides the new features that we have added to Michigan Antiques Directory,
we have modified the look and feel of our web site. All pages within
Michigan Antiques Directory have been updated with our new menu format.
This new menu allows our users to have a consistant method of navigating
the web site. There maybe different content within the menu depending
on whether you are visiting our listing pages or our information pages
but, either way, the method of navigation will be the same. In addition,
the pages have been widened and a new header has been added. |
A link to our Events Calendar is available on every listing page,
as is access to our search page. We think these modifications will
make your browsing experience easier and more enjoyable. We have also added a Legend describing our color coding and listing position within our county pages. On the left side of the page you will find antique malls, stores and on-line stores. These listing will have blue titles. On the right side you will find antique markets and shows with the heading of "Antique Show" in purple. Auctions will be found on the right with the heading of "Antique Auction" sporting an orange color. Antiques & collectibles dealers and businesses offering 'services of antiques' will also be found on the right, but without any color coding. We would love to hear your thoughts on MAD's changes as well as any suggestions you might have to make your visit to our site more enjoyable. |
