Over the years that Michigan Antiques Directory has been in existence we have worked hard on our search engine placement. As the years have progressed we have seen our ranking steadily improve.

Our city level indexing is working within the search engines and many people are finding your stores using content searches that pick up your descriptions within your listing. If you would like to update the description of your business listing, just send us an email.

MAD News:
We are seeing more and more people finding Michigan Antiques Directory using content searches within the search engines. Make sure that your listing descriptions are fairly detailed as to the content of your stores. You would hate to miss a sale because a customer didn't know that you carried coins, McCoy, advertising, Depression glass or some other mainstay of your inventory.
The shipment of rack cards promoting MAD was sent to the state of Michigan in April. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) had requested another 6000 rack cards for the Michigan Welcome Centers. As you are reading this, people who visited the Welcome Centers as they entered Michigan are connecting to their hotel's Internet access and visiting our site. Are they going to find your store information there?
We are seeing a lot of visits to MAD that have been facilitated through our link exchange program with other web sites. We will continue to work on exchanging links with BnBs, municipalities, collector's sites, etc. If you know of a web site that might be a good candidate for a link exchange, please send their link to us and we will contact them. Thanks in advance for your help!
Remember: a 2007 Full Business Listing in MAD as a Charter Member, still only costs $5.25 per month. That's 24/7, global exposure for the cost of one large cafe mocha plus tip! Compare that to a local yellow pages listing.
