We have devoted this little corner of the website to keeping you and all interested parties abreast of what is happening with the Michigan Antiques Directory. We hope you have taken a moment to read our "About Us" page so you know how we got here.

Search Engine Ranking

Most important to a site like ours, and to the businesses listed within our site, is how we rank within search engines. The most common types of searches are not business names but searches using descriptive terms.

Recently we discovered how we ranked on the search phrase of "antiques directory". This is a very generic phrase and returns search results of several million, encompassing directories from all over the world. We were very happy to see a link to Michigan Antiques Directory on the first page of that Google search. Of course, with such a generic search and high number of results, first page placement will fluctuate. If you don't find us on the first page, keep looking - we are close by.

Such a high ranking within this type of search shows that Michigan Antiques Directory has high visibility within all major search engines. This fact will not be missed by our users and should not be missed by our customers.

MAD has been established since 2003. Our length of time on the Internet and the effort we have put into search engine placement allows us to boast high rankings on all major search engines. Below are some keyword phrases and to the right of them are four of the top search engines.

The Booth

We created The Booth as a display for "this and that." We welcome your experiences and news.
Maybe you have an idea that you would like to share. Tell us how people have used MAD to find your store. We'll start off with a little tootin' of our own horn, but please feel free to jump into future issues of the MAD RAG.

Our home page is continuing to improve. We have widened it, making room for news and information that we think you will enjoy. You will also find some mall images displayed within a slide show. Click on a mall's image and you will be taken to its web site. This area of our home page will be updated on a regular basis, so check back often to see what's new!
Our placement within all search engines continues to improve. More and more generic searches are finding our site. This is very exciting for us and all who use Michigan Antiques Directory
